Hello,

I use a LG Optimus P500 with android 2.2( Froyo). Recently the phone got updated to the new android market application. Since some of my apps started taking updates automaically. I can't find the " Allow automatic update option " . These apps are preloaded by Lg, they are Aldiko reader, Indian Music, Facebook for Android, Photofunia and Layar. I tried to downgrade the market app to previous version to get back the features but it updated again on restart.

Please Help.

Hello,

When a user install a new software in new version of Android, then most cases its select automatic update by itself. I guess when you have install those software you mentioned they had tick mark on automatic update. I can give you example from my android device.

I have noticed it when I have install facebook  for my android. You can see that "Allow automatic update " button uncheck.

Now how can you fixed this problem?? Its also so simple. Just go to Market then type Facebook or other programs you want not to automatic update. You will notice two button open and uninstall. Scroll  the page then you will find "Allow Automatic updating " option. Just uncheck it.

I hope it will work. Have nice day.

Regards

Ahmad
