I want to know when exactly the update for Android 4.1 will be available for Samsung galaxy s3. Do we need to pay any additional price for updating to Android 4.1 as it is not fully into market.

It seems that the world’s most popular OS “Jelly Beans” 4.0 is getting better than before. Well, the officials claim that the new release has just been prepared and it’s about to be approved by the Google soon. The update is expected to be rolled out by end of August 2012 because Samsung is also conducting tests on S3 and S2 devices to run Jelly Beans 4.1 smoothly so, this could take a while before launch. Currently, Android 4.1 update is only publicly available for Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ and Nexus S devices. It is expected that the update will most probably be made available for Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy S2 in the 3rd quarter of 2012.
