Hello,

My laptop has a sticker that gives the specs of its processor as AMD turion 64 times 2 mobile technologies. Does this information mean that my laptop has a dual core 64-bit processor? I am a bit confused.

Thanks

Hi Jane,

AMD Turion Processors refer to the 64-bit processors made to compete with Intel’s mobile processors. AMD Turion 64-bit x2 is a dual-core processor contending Intel’s Core 2 CPUs. So the answer to your question is yes, the sticker says the specs about your processor. You can check out this link which has information on AMD Turion Processors:

I hope this helps.

Hello there,

If I am not wrong than the below image is available on that sticker.

This is the official logo for AMD Turion processors. You can find almost everything about your computers specification from properties. Now right-click on my computer icon and select properties from the drop down menu. It will show everything about your computer’s hardware specification. Once you get all the specification than you do not have to believer a mere sticker. It would be better if you told us the laptop’s model number.

Thank you,

 Riley Weaver.
