My kindle is slowing down and it is becoming very annoying to restart the kindle every time it hangs. I had bought this 2 years back and was fully functional and the performance, clarity of the picture and the quality of sound was top notch. Now, from the recent past I observed that it hangs even if I just browse, doesn’t support third party apps well. I removed all the apps retaining only Skype. Still the problem persists and I cannot use Skype too. It has made the kindle useless to me and has to sort out this at the earliest. What could be the issue?

You have to follow the below solutions to resolve the issue with kindle.
Solution 1: Restart the Kindle
Either go to home>men>settings>menu>restart or by holding the on/off switch to the right for between 20 to 30 seconds.
Solution 2: Software Update
Keep the kindle always up to date. Visit the kindle software update and check for update. If any update is available, then you have to download and install that update. This will improve the performance of Kindle.
Solution 3: Clean the screen
Kindle touch with infrared screen will display unresponsive symptoms if something meddles with the touch sensors. So clean the screen and keep the screen always clean.
Solution 4: Faulty app
Delete the installed app from the kindle and after see the performance.
Solution 5: Faulty eBook
eBook can become corrupted. So erase all eBook that you have downloaded. All downloaded eBook will be available in the cloud. So later you can take the deleted books from the cloud.
Solution 6: perform Device Reset
Still you have problem after following all the above solutions you can go for device reset. This process will erase all your data. So before resetting take a backup.
