Amazon instant video and flash update error

Hi all

I have been using amazons instant video software to watch videos but just yesterday when I wanted to watch a movie, the Amazon video started updating and when it finished updating, I was met with an error on my screen. The screenshot of the error is as follows:

Sorry we were unable to stream this video

The message states:

Playback Error

Sorry we were unable to stream this video. This is likely because your flash player needs to be updated.

Does anyone have any idea what should do to resolve the issue? Your helpful suggestions matter a lot to me.

So please help me out to sort out my problem.

Hi,

As the error suggests that your current flash player(the one that you have installed on your system) is out of date. Therefore the instant video software cant play the required video. Go to the adobe site and download or install and then try running to video player.

That should solve your problem.

Hi Judith,

Usually it can be fixed by updating your flash player but somehow you will still get an error message.

The usual cause of the problem is in the DRM of your Adobe flash player.

You can fix the issue by going to one of these links.

Choose which one is compatible with your OS and just follow the step by step guide.
