I’ve done my 15th reinstallation of Windows 2000 Pro together with Roxio Easy Creator 6 CD. When I finished installing Roxio CD and Easy Creator 6 DVD, for the very first time the operating system or internal impelled me to download a "video (TV)+ip" driver. Is this something I should be skeptic about?

Well it cannot be any virus or any malicious software as reinstalling windows 2000 will have wiped out all files.  Unless you installed some virus afterwards this is a genuine message.

It asks for video tv driver? Then you must have a TV card on your pc recently and watched television from your pc previously. Windows will not have the driver for it in its files, you have to get it by yourself. Install its driver by using the cd that came with or search the internet for the driver.

If you are not using any tv card at present then you can ignore this message.
