Great to read this post and coming to next generation portable devices such as mp3 players, Nintendo game stations, ps3. It's nothing but the technology is just being updated and these days the amount will be greatly increased if the size of the device is small as in future there may be even a chance of mobile with credit card thickness so just double the price what the present price now so that you may buy in the future and try to buy new things of better brand of which you follow as you don’t try to move to another brand as it will be uneasy to you to maintain them.

If you ask just about next generation of computers then I think it will be more reliable than the currently we are using. You asked about portable things so I think that mobile phones will replace everything. I mean,
A mobile phone + Game device = Mobile phone
AÂ mobile phone + Portable TV = Mobile phone
And so on. Mobile phones will be cheaper than the current price we are paying today.
