I have installed a lot of TrueType fonts on my desktop and I can't keep track anymore. I need to manage them so I installed Alchemy Mindworks Font Wrangler Version 2.0v. I can now preview the fonts and change font names but I can't remove them in batches. Why is that so? I'm on Windows Vista 64 bit.
Alchemy Mindworks Font Wrangler not working in batches
This problem may occur due to incorrect or incomplete installation and this may happen if you installed Font Wrangler while your Antivirus software is enabled. Some Antivirus softwares such as Norton Antivirus will detect Font Wrangler as a malware and will show WS.Reputation alert. This may interfere with the installation process.
Also on Vista operating system you may get this error "this program might not have installed correctly" after you run a downloaded installer for non-Microsoft software. You can click on "installed correctly" if it appears, and ignore the warning.
So now you need first to make sure that you have Font Wrangler compatible with Windows Vista X64
Then uninstall it completely by Removal softwares such as RevoUninstaller to remove the program with all the leftovers.
Then re-install Font Wrangler while disabling your Antivirus software.
