Help is needed from you guys. One of our cron jobs is writing errors to a log file running on AIX Version 5.2. The following error message appear and any ideas. Error: Error: Internal system error: Unable to initialize standard output file

Please let me know if you need more info as that what I am guessing.

You should check again the version of the AIX package you are using. Maybe you got mixed up on using different AIX versions on your computer. For example, if you have a package built for AIX 5, like 5.2 or 5.3, this version will still run on higher releases or higher versions. But a package built for AIX 6 will not run on lower release versions, for example AIX 5.2.
