AirPlay icon has been missing on my iPad from last 2 days.

Hello EWoods,

Airplay is IPad's one of the coolest and amazing feature. You can usually connect your IPad to a TV with your air play. Now many are complaining that their Airplay icon is missing. It probably occurs because of the network. So try the steps below:

  1. Keep in mind to power on your airplay device.
  2. Many devices use Bluetooth, but airplay use local network to send music and videos from your IPad to Airplay devices. So connect both devices to a network.
  3. Power off the airplay device and wait for 10 seconds to power it and reconnect it to the network.
  4. Now if the issue persists, then try rebooting your IPad and reconnect it.
  5. Now reboot your router, update it's firmware every possible way and try reconnecting again.

I would suggest you check with the following steps:

  1. Check your Airplay devices is on
  2. Check if it's connected to network to the same net work as the device you are using to access
  3. Restart Apple TV
  4. Restart Apple TV by removing all cables for 30 seconds
  5. Restart your router
  6. Restart your mobile device

One of these steps will hit the key and solve the issue.
