Why is my Samsung galaxy s5 phone camera not working? I notice that the smartphone gallery is not displaying its entire picture and I wipe the cache partition. The next thing that happens to the phone was that the camera stops working. What happen to the camera? How do I fix the problem?
It is possible that an application that uses the camera or flash got corrupted after you wiped the cache partition. Some applications like Photo Studio, Facebook, Camera 360 and such likes uses camera and uses cache to load the camera faster. Wiping the cache partition sometimes corrupt some applications. Try to boot to Safe Mode on your phone by turning your phone off and then turn it on and once you see the Samsung logo press and hold the Volume down key. Once on Safe Mode try to use your camera and if it worked then you might need to uninstall and reinstall your applications that use the camera of your phone. Another possibility is if you are using an external SD card and the default path of your Camera was set to save on your SD card. Try to remove your external SD card and if the camera worked then possible that after wiping the cached partition corrupted the folder or path that your camera created on the SD card. The last possible solution is to perform a Factory Reset but before performing Factory Reset make sure to back up your phone data.
