Hello,

I just got this error message while rendering using Adobe After Effects in Mac Operating System. I have tried to solve this problem but I need an expert’s advice to resolve the matter.You can see the full error message below to find out the best resolution. Thanks in advance.

After Effects error: Rendering error while writing to file “/Volumes/ 4TB RAID/ timelapse 8.mov”. An output module failed. The file may be damaged Or corrupted.

Please follow the steps as stated below:

1- Make sure After Effects is closed. If you have the After Effects icon on the dock, right click it (or Control Click) and then select Quit

2- Please click here —> http://download.videocopilot.net/of_1.2_update/

3- Select Mac and enter an email address, then click "Download"

4- Save the file to your desktop and then double click it to run it

5- After the update finishes restart the computer ONLY if prompted,

6- Open After Effects. It should run fine now.
