I am currently using Avast antivirus free version and in Avast support tab there is general support package then there is tick box to check log files when I click generate button it did not work properly.
Does anyone have experience such error.
If so advised me on antivirus and audit logs. Thanks
Advice on antivirus and audit logs?
It is important to note that each antivirus technology uses different combinations of running processes, registry settings as well as installation of files. Most of these can reliably detect these different types of applications in an enterprise environment and then use that information to write audit files.
In order to carry our antivirus checks and get audit logs, you will need to have the audit policy for anti-virus technology that you are using and then using a Nessus Client or Security Center, you will configure the antivirus with a scan policy.
The policy should be able to specify the particular anti-virus audit file as well as the credentials for the target systems.
