ADR 2012 installation issues / errors

Hello,

I am facing an error while installing the ADR 2011 MSI [setup file], by using command for creating a log file. It is also to inform you that I am running Windows 7 [having 64 bits operating systems] and 64-bit computer system.

Please examine the screen shot of that error message [attached].

Error 1713. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL requires for this install to complete could not be run

Secondly, I also tried to execute the exe file with the installer and faced other error messages, and finally not succeeded.

Please help me out of this issue as soon as possible; I am waiting for your kind responses.

Hi Robert,

DLL files are essential files needed to run the programs in Windows. Without the DLL file stated above, you cannot install your ADR properly which will result in malfunctioning of the software. I can offer you two solutions:

  1. Download the DLL file and place it to the directory where it is meant to be [C:Program Files (x86)Autodesk Design ReviewUPI]. You can download this file from PC Help Headquarters.
  2. You can download the whole installer from the Official Autodesk Download Page and install it on your computer. That may help remove any errors completely.
