Hi there,

Today my Adobe had a crash and I cannot restore it. This error appeared after I opened a PDF file downloaded from a secured server. I don’t want to reinstall my Adobe because I lost my Original CD. Does anyone have any idea if this error can be solved? If can be solved please help me…

Thank you!

Receiving that error doesn’t mean that your Adobe InCopy is already corrupted or damaged. Maybe the error appeared only once during the time when you open the downloaded PDF file. I’m sure opening other PDF files on your computer using Adobe InCopy will work normally. But in case each time you start Adobe InCopy, the same error always appears then it is already faulty.

In this case, there is no other option but to reinstall it. There is actually no problem even if you already don’t have the setup CD with you because you can always download a copy from the web. But the only problem is your license may not work on the version you’ll be downloading. But anyway, it is still a free trial version and you can use it for free.

Download Adobe InCopy CS5.5. It supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. It doesn’t work on Microsoft Windows 7 and up. If you want to install updates for Adobe InCopy CS5.5, you can get all the updates from Adobe InCopy for Windows.
