Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended could not complete your request (not enough memory)

I downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS4 few weeks ago and had it installed in my newly purchased Acer laptop. At first, it worked just fine not until today when I start Illustration, an error keeps coming up saying “The error is: Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended could not complete your request because there is not enough memory (RAM).” So, what I did is I checked my RAM but it has still a lot of available free spaces. My memory preference of Adobe Photoshop is set to 60%. I am confused why this happens. Could you tell me what’s wrong in this situation?

Help me to fix this please?

Hi Jedei Powel,

Normally, Photoshop want a lot of memory when its in action. Especially when you are going to work with high resolution. You need a good amount of RAM with a good cache memory as well enough free space at the system drive. If your PC lack any one of it then you may find hard to work on Photoshop due to lack of memory.

*** Download CCleaner from this link to cleanup your system drive always.

*** Or you can Add extra RAM to your computer

*** To clean up your Drive

1. Right Click on the drive

2. Go to Properties

3. Click Disk Cleanup

4. Check Unwanted files to be deleted.

Hope this is going to solve your problem.
