Sometimes a font can remain in a document as chaff or dirt. You can search for the MIF file. When you find the Times new roman font then try doing this.

Either you can use the found instance to identify the source object, and fix the source object in the document.

Or, change instances of ‘ FFamily `Times' and FPostScriptName `Times’ to the font you have.

If you want to import a PDF file in Adobe Illustrator, here’s how you do it. Start Adobe Illustrator then click “File” and then select “Open.” In the “Open” dialog, select the PDF file you want to import from then click “Open.” In “PDF Import Options” dialog, do one of the following:

  • Select “Range” then specify the page numbers to open specific pages.
  • Select “All” if you want to open the entire document.

If you open a PDF file in Adobe Illustrator using this method, you specify which pages you want to import. You can open all pages, a range of pages, or just a single page. The page range options appear in the “PDF Import Options” dialog which allows you to view a thumbnail of a page before you import them.
