Hello,

FreeHand is a great tool for creating illustrations and layouts for printing or Web and I have used it for some time now but it has been giving me an error recently. I cannot seem to be able to transform objects and when I try to do so the error below shows up. Please help with your suggestions.

A transform has been applied to the object and the original object cannot be subselected. Use the Reset Extrude command to remove the transform

If you are not applying any transform on any of the objects in your project, it is possible that your previous session with the program caused a crash in one of its components or maybe you applied a command but the computer suddenly freezes leaving the command hanging. Sudden system freezing causes programs to get corrupted.

If you have no idea what causes the problem, try reinstalling it. Uninstall it, restart your computer, and then install it back. But before uninstalling it, make sure you still have the installer. If you wish to download the installer again, visit FreeHand MX Free 30-day trial. You are required to create an account first prior to downloading the file.

You may also follow what is instructed in the message. Remove the transform that was previously applied using the Reset Extrude command.
