Hi Alisonnlopez,

First you need to know exactly what is the error when installing updates (may be you have a weak internet connection) for adobe flash player to solve it. But you can always install updates offline from the adobe site: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html in the right side choose get updates which will give you the option to download the latest update of the flash player which you can install offline with no need to internet connection.

Hope this helps.

Installing Adobe Flash Player is easy most of the time if you have a good internet connection because the installer is only around 18 MB. If you are installing Adobe Flash Player from the official Adobe website, you should have a good internet connection because the Adobe website only provides a download stub or web installer.

Once it is downloaded, the web installer will initiate the downloading of the files and then automatically installs Adobe Flash Player on your computer when all files are complete. But the problem with a web installer is that when you have a poor internet connection or you have a slow connection, the web installer will abort the download and cancel the installation when your connection reaches the slowest.

If this is what’s happening to you, then it is recommended that you download the offline installer so you can have the full installer on your hard drive. Download the offline or standalone installer from Adobe Flash Player Distribution and then run it to install Adobe Flash Player.
