Adobe Fireworks / Web Photo Album

Been using the same Adobe suite for many year. Version MX –

It's always worked fine but now the web photo album command won't function. Specifically, it says the source folder is empty (it isn't – it's got the usual jpg images in it).
Any ideas? I'm working on a Windows 7 OS.
Alternately any reliable free download you can recommend for making a web album and embedding in html?

Hello Quickee,

Please perform the following:

  • Go to dreamweaver
  • Choose command and select  Photo album
  • Enter a title in a photo album text field
  • You will be noticed a color gray rectangle at the top of the album
  • You can also enter additional two lines
  • Choose the folder which contains the image source
  • Click browse button right after source image folder
  • Choose the destination of the folder
  • Choose the size that you want
  • Choose format and click OK

Please check out the image below to learn more about what I am telling you. I hope it helps. Have a good day and good luck!

Hi there user,

You experienced this error because you browse what that error message literally displays, empty folder. When opening a folder by web photo, right after you created a photo album. You need to configure it first. It’s not a magic that it displays empty folder when you’re sure that you have jpg images in it. Try to rename the folder, and try again. If the error still appears, delete the folder and paste the images in a new one.

Yes, a Web Photo Album Software is available for your second choice. https://jalbum.net/en/

You can begin to create and set-up gallery to the link above if you opt to try.
