Hi to all TechyV people!

I am using Dreamweaver for the first time. What does it mean about the tags being deeply nested?

And how do I fix it?

Thanks a lot for any information you might share! I am keen on learning more about this software.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 Error: Tags are too deeply nested

Hi Hypatia,

This occurs when you are in the Dreamweaver especially in the design mode and you are doing an activity for instance changing the fonts a lot of times. Every time you change a font to another new font, the html tags used for the previous font type are retained and the html tags for the new font type are nested in the previous tags.

So when you keep on changing the fonts say like ten and more times, the tags become too many and Dreamweaver becomes kind of 'confused' as to which html tag to use at that point. So it is a  good thing when editing a page in Dreamweaver to use both the design view and the code view to that you do not overwhelm Dreamweaver by nesting so much tags in between others as a result of making countless changes.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Lee Hung.
