Hi

Before installing adobe CS5 be confirmed about the system requirement. Because it requires Windows Xp Service pack 3. If your system is Xp service pack 3 ten follow the following procedure before installing.

Configure your system form system directory C:WindowsSystem32driversetc, Find the host file and edit with note pad to look like this.

# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 adobeereg.com
127.0.0.1 www.adobeereg.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 125.252.224.91

Then go the run option from your start menu and type “msconfig” and press enter. When the msconfig window runs from the general tab select “selective Startup” then deselect “process system.INI file” and “process Win.INI” file. Now from the service tool “Hide All Microsoft Services”

You have to use original BOOT.INI for this configure on winxp 32 bit.

Best of luck

If you simply reinstalled Windows XP without formatting the hard drive and with all applications installed, you need to reinstall the program if the program stops working. But if the installer or the setup wizard asked or prompted you for another disk, there is something wrong with your installer. If you downloaded the installer as multi-part archive, check that all parts of the archive are downloaded completely.

Also, check that your computer meets the requirements. Adobe Photoshop CS5 supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista (Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise) Service Pack 1, and Windows 7. It requires Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent AMD Athlon 64 processor, 1 GB RAM, 1 GB free space, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution.

Some features will require a video card with Shader Model 3.0 and OpenGL 2.0 support. QuickTime 7.6.2 is required for multimedia features.
