Hi,

The following problem occurs when I try to download ‘Java’ and click on setup to install but the issue displayed as an error. How can I fix this error message? First, I tried to remove it and reinstall the program but the error still remains. Do you have any idea to fix this problem? I would be grateful to you for any assistance.

Hi James,

To fix this error, perhaps you should try these following steps:

1. Go to Start Menu.

2. Type “C:/Users/username/appdata/local/temp” (replace the username with your username; quotes not included).

3. Right click the temp folder and select ‘Properties’.

4. Choose the ‘Security’ tab. There might be two options in the box which is Group or User Names.

5. Click ‘Edit’ and give all permissions (like Full control…) to every name options.

6. Click ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’.

I hope this will help you to fix your problem.

Regards,

Martine Paul
