Hi technical experts out there!
I want to control the speed log on feature of Microsoft Windows to make the PC run in optimal condition. This is a part of tweaking operating system for gaining knowledge. I wish to disable the group policy of always wait for the network at computer startup and logon. Is there anyone to guide me?
Administrating the group policy of always wait for network at computer startup
Hi there. This setting enabled by default for all users. Without synchronization with Windows login process, it causes the group policy to be applied. It reduces the time taken to load the desktop. It implies that before the policy is applied, the user can access all the services.
Based on your requirement, you may wish to tweak Speed Logon Optimization. It may be done by the Group Policy, with modification of settings. To access it, follow the steps below.
• Open the editor of Group Policy
• Navigate to the setting and enable or disable as desired.
Hope that helps you.
