Ad Manager plus for active directory management and reporting

qa-featured

AD Manager Plus is simple, easy-to-use, web-based, and secure Active Directory Management & Reporting tool. It feature a single console from which IT Management can view and manage Active Directory users, computers, contacts, group and reports on Active Directory environment. By using this software, it will avoid manual, error prone administrative activities on Active Directory. Like for example, you can retrieve data from the entire Active Directory or from the required domains, OUs or any other container to facilitate a periodic review of the entire active directory inventory objects in compliance with the statutory requirements during audits (especially useful to meet SOX Compliance Audit). Reports on Security Groups, File/Folder permissions, recently modified Users, Computers, GPOs, OUs, OS based reports, Domain Controller based reports, Nested Reports, Log on hour based reports based on logon-logoff times, soon to expire user accounts reports, expired or disabled user accounts reports, etc., can even be auto generated using the Schedule reports utility. These reports will also enable the administrators to manage the Active Directory proactively and more efficiently. The reports that are scheduled can be sent to a selected/specified list of email addresses.

There are 2 variants of ADManager Plus: Standard and Professional Edition. I would recommend the Professional Edition because it has all the features. This software on MS Windows AD is compatible with MS Exchange Server 2007/2010, extracts vital data from Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory Environment in minimal time and displays it in an easily understandable format.
