Active sound mixer device problem

Hi,

I'm Sharif. I'm using Windows XP on my desktop. So far it was a nice experience but in recent times I am facing an unwanted problem. like, after closing my media player for some times I can not reopen that & my pc becomes mute. I can't adjust my volume level. If I click on the volume icon  shows "There is not any active sound mixer device on your computer. Please check your hardware & install device from control panel". But if I restart my computer, sound becomes normal & no problem occurred. Again after closing media player for sometimes it occurs again.

What is the problem? What should I do?

Please inform me.

Hi,

It may create on position, space, and version wise. Your problem is missing your device programs from your system. you have to use the Motherboard disk. Go the audio device you like to install and perform it. or you make sure that your audio device which already on your system will not it's configuration. If it does not work as well complete delete your audio device.

Or another option you have to repair by control panel Go repair administration or add new device. Before doing this you make sure that your hard disk have enough space to perform. Normally scan your computer for virus problem. It is all of the solve about audio device problem.

Let you apply these one option. Thanks.

Go to your control panel – click on Administrative Tools – then Services – then go down your list until you find Windows Audio – and click on left side – Start this service….   then close everything up. I used to have to do this every time I shut my computer off but for some strange reason, it works again by itself…go figure.  Hope this helps for you.  Let me know.
