Can anyone help me out on this? I currently have a new iPhone 4s from AT&T and I am having difficulties activating it. When I had it synchronized with iTunes and went ahead to activate it I got an error message stating “the phone could not be activated please try again later”. I don’t really know what is causing this error for I am sure that I followed all the proper procedures. Trying to activate it from the phone also just happened to be a waste of time.

·         Call your AT&T’s customer service and have them manually activate it for you.

·         You can visit the online activation site of AT&T https://www.att.com/checkmyorder/activations/ have it activated through the web.

·         Email AT&T’s customer service and have direct activation.

·         Wait and try to activate again on a latter time.
