Hi there,

There seems to be a problem with my an object graph that is serialized with the action message format, the process just stops and seems to be a problem with the registry entries. The problem seems to be with the adobe flash client that I currently have installed. I want to know, will uninstalling the flash client and then reinstalling the client solve the problem? I am saying this because there is a lot of data that I need to back up before uninstalling

Hello,

There could be problem with the version of your flash player. You can try first updating the flash player and the try again. I am sure it will solve your problem. Just in case, if it is still giving an error then you can uninstall the flash player.

By removing the flash player from your computer will not destroy your personal data, it will only clear the data in flash player folders. For uninstalling, you need to download the uninstaller from here, in your computer. Save all the files and work that uses flash. Close all browsers and messengers which are using flash.

  1. Run the uninstaller. Following message will appear;
  2. "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to your computer?"
  3. Click Yes.
  4. Delete all the files and folders in the flash player folders: (You can run these commands on Windows Start > Run to access these folders directly)
  5. CWindowsSystem32MacromedFlash
  6. C:WindowsSysWOW64MacromedFlash
  7. %appdata%AdobeFlash Player
  8. %appdata%MacromediaFlash Player

Now your computer is clean form the flash player files. Install a fresh copy of flash player and I hope it will do the job.

However, before re-installing the Adobe Flash client try to fix its registry entries. If serious troubles were sustained by your computer, there is already a need to reinstall your operating system.

If you think the problem is with Flash Player, try to uninstall and reinstall the plug-in. There are three versions of the plug-in for different web browsers:

Removing Flash Player can be done in different ways. If you want to uninstall them all at once, you can download the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller. This removes all versions of Adobe Flash Player from your computer. Another easy way is from the Control Panel. Third option is to use Revo Uninstaller.

Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select a version of Adobe Flash Player among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, repeat the same steps to uninstall the remaining versions.

Once all versions are removed, download the latest version from the link above then see if it works.
