Acronis True Image 2012 error

Hello everyone,

My troubles begin with Acronis True Image 2012. As far as the NAS device backup configuration is concerned, everything seems to be fine. Even the connection test goes ok. But when I try to connect I just get this:

Access to the file is denied.

Hello Logan,

The problem here should be with the product and how it was configured during the installation. The acronis true image 2012's files have been restored with the rights that are not correct.

To solve this issue, use the procedure below, so that you can set access rights to the restored files:

  • First you should log onto the computer with administrative rights.
  • On the folder that you cannot open, right click on it and then choose properties.
  • Click on the security tab, and then on OK.
  • A list will appear named 'Groups or Usernames', check the checkbox labeled FULL CONTROL in the allow column, then click OK
