Hi guys. I downloaded an Acer utility repair manual in PDF file format on their website. I try to open it with Acrobat but I'm having an "unrecognized file format" error. I checked the properties and it is in .pdf format. What do I do to open this file. I used Adobe Acrobat XI.
If the file is on the network, try transferring it to the local hard drive and see if it will open from there.
The file might also be corrupted. If that is the case, you will need to place it into a new illustrator file using the following process:

   First of all you have to check that if the acrobat is working fine with other PDF files!
If it is not working properly than go ahead and restart your PC or reinstall the application.
If it is working fine then there is something wrong with this file and the only reason that it is not opening can be that the file is corrupt or not properly downloaded.
1. Please try de-downloading the file and check if it fixes the issue.
2. In case it does not solve the issue then download it from another more reliable source!
This will solve the issue!
