Hi,

I accidentally deleted important files that allow my MIC and Speakers to function. I have already tried EVERYTHING and cannot restore to before the accident.

Can you get my MIC and Audio working?

Thank you for your question.

At first check your MIC and speaker. If it is all right or working, then go control panel > Add or remove program > uninstall audio drive. After uninstalling that then install audio driver from Motherboard driver disk. After full installation if it is not working then install your operating system.

I think then its working.

Thank you

Have you tried to check on your Device Manager if there are missing drivers? You can identify it if there are small yellow exclamation point next to your device that looks like this.

Expand your Sound, Video and Game Controllers category and check if you have deleted the drivers for your MIC and speaker. To resolve this, you can run Windows Update to replace all the missing drivers. And also, you can also use the Restore Point if you have it.

So you can go back to the time before you accidentally deleted the drivers. Another way to solve this issue is to run the System Checker. Just click on Start>Run and then type SFC/ SCANNOW in the command prompt.

I hope you can resolve this issue.

Since you deleted it, you can restore it from your recycle bin. Just go to recycle bin then right click the file then click restore. If you deleted more than one, just select all of that then right click then click restore. But if your recycle bin is set to off, you need to know you computer model and manufacturer.

Then you can download drivers or things that you deleted from your computer from manufacturer's website. The important here is you must know what have you deleted, or else it will be hard for you to look for the files that you deleted. Hope this helped.
