I really need help in accessing personal information in MS OneNote.  I put all my passwords in there so I would not forget but I guess I am just that forgetful since I also forgot the password to access my other passwords.  🙂  Please do help.

Hello Tesfa Roman,

When you create a password in ms OneNote, it is saved locally in the file, and on the ms OneNote servers. So you can easily retrieve from your computer. I will suggest that you try using the OneNote Password Recovery tools to retrieve the password.

You will notice that the password mechanics that are applied in the OneNote program are not the same as those for the other office products in that the other office products do not use true encryption but rather a protection scheme that can be bypassed. On the contrary OneNote uses true encryption, and therefore I will suggest that you use the following recovery tools to be able to retrieve the password.

From the site Cnet
From the site Intelor
From the site Lost password

Just access the links to download them.
