I am receiving an error message while trying to create a DVD burnable file using AVS Video Editor. The error message is “Access violation at address 005B07B0 in Module AVSVideoEditor.exe Read of Address 0000000”. I never had any issues before though I have not used the toll for the last one year. Please help me resolve it.

Please try to repair the application by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Choose the name of the application > Choose Repair > then restart the computer.

Another step to try would be to uninstall the application. Click on Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall.  Make sure to check all the applications to be removed from your workstation in a pop-up window.

Another approach worth trying is cleaning up the registry. Go to Start > Type regedit > Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software and delete AVS4YOU. This will remove all traces and history of the AVS4YOU application. To delete, right click on the folder then choose delete.
