I am using the OS X Mountain Lion, I want to access the Notification center how to do it and what are the available ways to access it easily.

Please help me in this.

  • Click it from the menu bar.
  • on MacBook, you can use Trackpad gesture to access notification center. go into System Preferences > Trackpad > check the box for Notification Center.
  • Hold Option and click the Notification Centre icon in the menu bar.

1. In the menu bar click the notification center icon you can click the icon to hide or to reveal the notification center.

2. If you're using trackpad, you can use gesture to access notification center, you have to activate the gesture. to do so, go into System Preferences then trackpad and check the box for notification center. To done correctly, with two fingers swipe from the right  edge of your trackpad toward the center.

3. And the simplest way of accessing notification center is to use your keyboard, to set a keyboard shortcut, launch System Preferences then keyboard and click on the keyboard shortcut button, then you will see Mission Control list of options, click on it and check the box for notification center.
