Hi TechyV!

I am trying out Academic Site License Spring 2009 LabVIEW Core on my laptop which runs on Windows Vista.

Each time I launch the setup icon this error comes up.

All anti-virus software and firewalls are turned off, but it doesn't seem to help very much.

Any experience dealing with this error and possible solutions will be of great help.

Looks like this software is not supported with your OS or it is not compatible with your OS. You did mention that your OS is windows vista try to run vista in a xp compatible mode. To do this first right click on the installation file then just click properties at the top you will see compatibility button click it. Check the box on the left of the line “run this program in compatibility mode for” then select xp service pack 3 or 2. Then click ok and now try to install it again . you will see the result.
