Why is it said that the multiple widespread components of Information Technology have to work together harmoniously for providing the desired performance?

In today's world, what is the need to read books that give information about computer and its technology, get enrolled to a computer course, and thus become a 'computer literate'?

Hello Shaisan,

What a very nice question. I agree that for us to become a computer literate, we need widespread component of Information technology like reading books and enrolling computer courses. Nowadays, the use of technology has been spread worldwide. I admit that we can learn basic use of technology but in terms of deep meaning of it, we need to study more or read more to understand technology better. For example, we know how to use computers basically but we don't know how to troubleshoot when problem or error occurs. Same thing when we use cellphone or video games. What happened when something's wrong with them? We go to the expert, right? The people who can fix problems or error on technology are called Technology LITERATE. They are the one who study more about computer which helps us solve our problems about computers. I hope I enlighten you with my solution.

Hello Shaisan,

Actually it is very true when they say that multiple widespread components of Information Technology have to work together harmoniously to provide the desired performance because it only makes sense when the  different component work together. For instance, you can have a printer which is a computer component, but it will be of no use if you not have a computer that you can use to print information so that the printer becomes useful.

Or say a projector for example. It is a powerful tool that is important when it comes to presentations, but without a computer to display the presentation on the projector, the projector will be of no use. Hence we come to a conclusion that the various computing components need each other to provide the desired performance.
