I am getting the error below whenever I launch Ableton Live which is a music sequencer and digital audio software. I installed it on Windows 8.

I think the problem could be solved by downloading the whole 600 MB 9.0.2 update pack. Also try disabling some plugins, move the plugin to another folder temporarily and check if the program runs. If not solved try deleting the .plist files on OSX. This file will rebuild themselves. Hope this can solve your problem.

This problem should be solved when you upgrade to the next software update.
To do that:
1. It is recommended that you backup all your files before you do anything
2. Download the latest update from the Ableton Live website.
3. Go to ableton.com, connect to your account by clicking Log in
4. Then, under the software tab, find the current update (9.0.6) and download it.
5. After the download, unzip the file and install the update by clicking on the executable file.
6. Finally you will have the latest version and the problem should be solved.
