Hi! I just got myself a PSP, and I am still new to this gaming stuff. From past few days, I have been getting an error whenever I try to play any game. The message “Game could not be started (PSP error code 80020148)” displays and it takes me all the way back to the start menu. I don’t know how to fix it. Please help me. Thanks!

Step 1: Open recovery menu.
To do so, follow these steps:
– Turn OFF the PSP.
– Press R and hold it.
– Now turn it ON.
Step 2: Go to the configuration, then disable NO-UMD and return to the main menu.
Step 3: Now, click on ‘advanced’ and select ‘advanced configuration’ from the options. Disable all of it.
Step 4: Restart your PSP.
If this doesn’t help, then update your PSP to the latest version available. That will work.
