With a quad core Tegra3 processor, Asus Transformer Pad 300 will be available in US on April 22nd. What is Tegra3 processor and what is the difference between a normal quad core processor and Tegra3 processor?

Tegra 3 is a processor designed for mobile devices. This is developed by the NVIDIA. This processor points to low-power consumption and performs well on playing audio and video. It incorporates the ARM architecture processor CPU or the Central Processing Unit, GPU or the Graphics Processing Unit, North and South bridge and the memory controller. Tegra 3 is considered as the very first super processor for mobile.
