Hello,

I am using Windows 7 Operating System and getting the following annoying error message.

This application was unable to start correctly.

Can someone help me to resolve this issue?

I would be grateful to you for any kind of assistance.

Hello Marvin

Since you didn't specify what application is this, I will provide you with a general solution. This can either be a damaged file or a compatibility issue.

Please uninstall the application from Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. After this, run a full scan with your antivirus and see if it finds something.

Download the application again an be sure that it matches your OS version (32/64 bit). Run the installation as administrator (right click on the installer > Run as administrator).

After you have installed the application, right click on it, select properties, and under the compatibility tab, select Run this program in compatibility mode for, and select the Windows that you have installed.
