I have Photoshop CS4 installed in windows 7 starter. I’ve been downloading brushes from the internet. After that I save them in my desktop and then extract the file if needed, I extract everything. Then I go to program files and move the file. Under the c: root directory and under the program files I look for the folder Adobe then Adobe Photoshop, Presets and lastly Brushes. For more clarification here’s the whole directories where I’ve save my downloaded brushes “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\Brushes”.
I’m using Windows XP on my Presario CQ41 laptop. My laptop is partitioned into 2 drives I put all 58.8 GB on my C: drive and 173 on my D: drive. All the installed program is on the C: drive, now I only have 4.2.GB free memory space on my C: drive. On the other hands my D: drive has a large amount of space It has 60.2GB free memory space. I only use the D: as a back-up for my software, games, movies etc.
