Recently I have reformatted my computer and I have installed the Operating system, using the Operating system disk which I have got during the time of purchase of my computer. I have the OS Key printed on the sticker, which is fixed on my Computer  CPU.

Hi,

I am facing a weird issue with my computer. When it turns on, I am able to work for some time and then it shuts off automatically for no reason. For many days I was facing this problem and I have tried booting into safe mode. I Even performed a repair install of OS, hoping it would help solve the problem. But the problem remained the same.

One day, I also noticed that my computer was getting overheated. So is this problem because of overheating? If yes, what would I be able to do about this problem?

Hi,

I have just turned on my computer now and I have found an error message that says, “HAL.DLL Corrupted “.  
 
It is  not allowing me to boot inside the operating system. I have tried inserting the Operating system disk to run a repair install but still it didn’t work out. Then I have also updated the BIOS. Still no go.  
 
So, I felt that I could consult some expert over here to help me solve this problem.

I have a trial version of Antivirus, which I think works fine. Kindly suggest me the best way to maintain a bug less PC.

Today I tried to connect the internet to my laptop for the first time. But it gave me, limited or no connectivity error. I don’t understand what exactly is the problem. So I posted it here, to meet some experts, to get my problem solved. Since this is the first time I connected, I assure you that this is, somewhere toward the setting.
