I tried to log in Xfire and received an error message. Have a look at the error message below. Is it a compatibility issue? What does it mean? I do not understand the error message. Have you any idea? Please help me to get a remedy of this issue.

Hi,

While creating a backup folder with XCopyFile running on Windows 2000 I received an error message. It is showing the error code (0x80070003 - The system cannot find the file specified). I have no idea for the error and the error code. Have you any idea for the error code and the error mentioned earlier? Please help me to get a remedy.

Hi everyone,

My Power book 5300CS with OS 8.1 which I have not used in a couple of years. I started it up today and everything was ok except the date and time that was inaccurate. I fixed them and shut down the machine. I also hooked it up to my external CD ROM and external touch pad.

I only got to the boot screen when I turned it on. The boot indicator did not reach very far, then, it froze. The CD ROM and touch pad were removed and I tried again but it was still frozen at the boot screen. Do you have any idea what may have caused this?

Hi guys

I was working with DVDFab 8.1.9.0 but I received an error when I was trying to convert an MKV to h.264 to use on my 3rd generation ipad. I tried solving this error by changing the settings but still my problem could not be solved. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

It’s been three weeks since I followed a McAfee recommendation to reboot so that it can remove the Trojans it detected. It keeps requesting a reboot because it always detects the Trojans named “Zero Access” and 2 versions of Generic, one of which is named Generic.dx!b2qj.  

I thought this was caused by Adobe software that I illegally downloaded so I restored my computer to a date before that download.  The reboot requests stopped but so did McAfee firewall and Windows Security Center. My McAfee Firewall is off yet the settings appear to be okay.

You will get this common error code when your Windows Installer finds an error. Especially Error Code 646 relates to downloading Update files of Windows and also installing them by Windows Installer.

Normally you will find a Windows Update Error code 646 if there is a wrong value in the registry.
