My desktop LAN card is not connecting to the ADLS modem. On the internet settings it shows local area connection as connected and also shows sent values as increasing but the receiving remains zero. The connection is fine on my laptop .Is it faulty LAN card or wrong LAN settings?

Hi. I get this error every time I start my pc:

grub loading, please wait...
Error 22

I had dual boot ubuntu-xubuntu and  right after I deleted the partition of xubuntu from the live CD I started getting this error message every time I boot. What does that mean? How can I make my pc start again? Thanks for your help.

I am using AVG 2012 Free Edition with my Sony laptop. It runs with Windows 7. When starting the antivirus an “Unspecified Error” occurred with choices of Yes or No on the error window. What should I do?
