I wish to enquire if True Crypt is still a secure option for Windows OS XP. I am curious to know if I have to decrypt my systems and eventually updating my hardware soon, most importantly the Mobo, CPU, Heat Sink Fan, Memory and GPU. I would also like to know if True Crypt keeps a system stable when the PC is fully shut down and no root log other than being presented with the password screen to go past the presented screen.

There were many PCs which were powered by Windows XP and there are many still but I can't figure out why the Windows XP support was ended by MS. I would wish to know how to change the interrupter request and to know if the change of this can affect my computer. Can it make it work faster on the devices listed? What is the implication of making the USB devices listed before most peripherals? Can my printer respond faster if I give it a lower value say IRQ 5?
