I’m an XP user, and I usually change the destination folder of favorites in internet explorer from it’s default position to another directory. And It is where I exclusively store all such files. But I’m not able to make similar changes of directory in Windows Vista UAC using IE7. I’m getting this unspecified error (please see image below).
Can someone please help me. Thank you.
I have installed windows vista on my PC. During internet browsing an error abruptly occurs on the screen. The screenshot of the error is as under:
Debug Assertion Failed!
Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe File c:\Program files\microsoft visual studio 8\vc\include\list Line 309
Expressions: list iterators incompatible
For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts.
(Press Retry to debug the application)
Every instance I’m having trouble on my laptop, I get error message like this "0xc00000e9". I don’t know why that I’m unable to start the current vista operation system and cannot run commencement solution.
What do you think is the problem and the solution that I can do about this?
I own a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Windows Vista.
Thank you in advance for any help that you can give me.
Vista had no support for DOS, Win7 has support, but you must pay for it (with something more powerful than the 'home version'. What is the support for DOS with this new version? Until I can find a newer version that supports DOS (remember when Gates et al said it would ALWAYS be backward compatible?) and without having to pay through the nose for it, I'll stick with XP.
I am currently running windows vista, can i upgrade to windows 8 and still keep all my files, programs and settings?.
I can’t install my Vista operating system and when I try to open it there is an error message appeared.
What I don’t understand is, before I was able to install it but right now there is an error message.
What should I need to do to resolve this issue?
