I am using windows 2000 professional in one of my laptop computer and it normally takes several minutes to load. I have installed limited softwares to this computer and maintained recommended free space of hard disk. But I use free antivirus software and is some kind of direct or indirect virus activity responsible for this delay? Please share your experience with me.

Hi

I am using an old Think pas with OS windows 2000. I have recently upgraded it to SP-4. I have tried scanning my files with SFC but I receive an error every time that my files cannot be scanned. I loaded a newer version of KERNEL.dll but I still get the same error on scanning my files.

I am gone through many websites and they all say that their scanners can help me get rid of this error but to tell you the truth, I have not yet tried any except SFC. I have only one Video LAN card and when I try to install the Adobe Flash player, I get the following error on my screen:

My computer is running in Windows 2000 Server as my primary domain controller and running Active Directory. I installed Windows 2003 Server tools on a Windows XP Pro computer to manage my users, etc.

The XP machine is in the domain. But, when I try to start Active Directory Users and Computers from the XP computer, I receive an error message saying "Naming information cannot be located”.

Please help me solve this problem.

I am trying to install Windows Defender so I can work with the older Windows 2000. However, I keep on encountering this error message:

I tried restarting my computer which runs on Windows 2000 but get this error on the process “software loader 3 error” then the system stops. I have no idea why this problem occurs and could not find any way to solve this. Could you help me with my problem, please? Thanks.
