I have been using my HP laptop for over 2 years now. Just recently, it developed this shutting down problem such that I constantly have to force shut down it just to turn it off. I worry as I know this could cause major issues in the future. I don't really use it for a long time, just about 2 hours or so.

Could anybody give an advice what causes this and how to resolve the issue?

Hi,

After turning on my pc each time I try to log into my user account and then just the picture and registry key shown in the box. Task manager needs to be opened and new task also needs to be selected for the load of Explorer.exe. I have been confirmed by my computer that only 3% disk space is being used but the problem is pc is very slow. Can you tell what is it going on there? Thank you for your help on this one.

I’m currently running a Windows 8 PC. I’m fully aware that DOS programs like EICAR are incompatible with my system. What I’m worried about is my anti-virus, which Windows 8 appears to lack, is not giving security warnings for files that are potential threats to my PC.

Hi all

I tried to enable the Task Manager if it was put out of action but I got that when I tried to do it, my Registry Edit was also disabled.

I recognize this is most likely due to a virus; however I scanned my PC many times with McAfee Antivirus 2010 but found nothing. 

But, I'm having problem to enable the regedit. Also I attempted every way listed but I continue getting error messages. This is the major one:

Hi TechyV buddies!

I am having some trouble with my pc getting blue screen or what is well known as BSOD. I am not certain of what caused this but I have a guessed that this issues are caused by viruses but I am not certain of it. Here are the following errors with blue screen:

"STOP: 0x0000007B"

"INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

Can anyone help me solve these problems? Thank you!

I am having some problem with windows firewall. When I try to open windows firewall I get this error message:

“There was an error opening the windows firewall with Advanced Security snap-in”

I've just newly installed my Windows 8 upgraded from Windows 7 it runs smothly without any problem. But 4 hours after It get froze so I forcely restart it and it froze again in a few minutes and I restart again and froze again. So I leave it overnight and I turn it on this morning but this time it froze on start up. What would I do?
