How to use thunderbird recovery tool to recover email from Inbox and Sent folder? I am not able to see any emails in my Inbox whereas a few days back I had over 1GB of files in Inbox. Somebody please help! Which is the best recovery tool?

Hi Experts,

I received an error message while sending a SMTP email with Thunderbird (2.0.0.23). It says “An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Authentication required. Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again”.

After getting this message I turned off Avast outgoing mail checker. It was ok. But Avast sent me a warning message that I should not do it again. How can I fix this issue?

I am using Thunderbird calendar for a few days now to manage my schedule easily.

I updated it yesterday to version 11.0.1 but after updating when I restarted it, the calendar was not displayed.

I restarted it several times, but the same problem was seen. I got the following error on the screen:

Please advice on how can I import selected message from my Gmail and Outlook to Thunderbird?

I have around 800 to 1,000 e-mails in my inbox, and I only need to import messages from selected senders.

Is there a quick way to do it?

As I do not have much time to manually select each received messages.

I have recently installed thunder bird browser and since then each time I turn on the thunder bird software my pc gets slow. I need to use the browser so I need some way to run the browser in my pc without making the pc slow. After I made a new message filter yesterday, to send all emails from my friends to Friends folder, I noticed that all my mail is being copied to that folder. I haven't edited all of my other filters and when I check them, they are ok. Any hint on why this is happening?
