Lately I have noticed when I copy file on my laptop, it goes automatically into a temporary folder. Also, I get prompted a pop-up message constantly saying that my files are ready to be burned. But the thing is, I do not have any burner installed on my laptop. I am currently running windows 7 professional?
Yesterday I was cleaning out my pc of random unused files. I went into file settings and turned on the hidden file option. Then I noticed that there were thousands of duplicate hidden files and I did not know how it got there. Is it safe to delete those files?
I have a question about the uninstalling of software in general. When you install a software it puts some files on your computer. What happens when you install this software? I know that the program is no longer operational on the PC but what happens to the files? Are residual files still present on the pc? Does it consume space? How to clean up thoroughly?

Hello! I use a multi user computer at work and a lot of other people share the same computer. So I have some confidential files and I don't want anyone to read or open those files. These files are in PDF format. Recently, I think someone opened and read the contents of those files. So do I have an option to set a password for PDF files or not?
I have a hotspot here at home and i wanted to block out some domains such that if they are detected, a message is sent to the respective user notifying them that the domain is blocked. Do you know of any software or setting that i can use to achieve this goal
